3 DAY LUXURY GARDEN ROUTE TOUR

Day 1: Port Elizabeth - Knysna 

An early morning departure will start your luxury 3-day Garden Route Tour to Kynsna, enjoying famous tourist attraction stops along the way.  First, we arrive at the picturesque region of the indigenous Tsitsikamma Forest which leads to the scenic Storms River Village, in time to enjoy a relaxing lunch, in a beautiful and tranquil setting. Storms River is a powerful river that winds its way through the captivating Tsitsikamma Mountain Range and into the Indian Ocean. After lunch you take part in the Storms River Mouth Bridge Trail on the famous Suspension Bridge that serves as a lookout point over stormy seas and precipitous cliffs through where the Storms River tumults into the sea. Leaving this Garden Route Wonder, we continue a short distance to The World-Famous Big Tree, a majestic wonder, a giant among giants to enjoy a brisk walk-through shaded lush serenity of the Forest. Next on route, we stop in Plettenberg Bay, at the famous Lookout Point for a picturesque panorama view of pristine beaches and possible dolphin sightings before heading onto Knysna. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations and a natural paradise on the Garden Route.  On arrival in Knysna, you can enjoy some leisure time and view the Knysna lagoon known as The Knysna Heads - the most recognised river mouth in South Africa. You will be escorted to dinner at one of the upmarket restaurants Knysna has to offer.

Day 2: Knysna to Oudtshoorn 

After breakfast we make our way to the privately owned Featherbed Nature Reserve in Knysna for a premier eco-experience. This outing includes a ferry cruise crossing the remarkable Knysna lagoon, an adventurous 4×4 vehicle drive to the top of the Western Head and a leisurely 2.2km nature walk, followed by being treated to an outdoor buffet lunch. After this spectacular food experience, we return to the mainland by cruiser and continue the tour through Lake District and the beautiful Wilderness, known for the best and most pristine beaches along the Garden Route. Here we stop at a popular tourist attraction, The Dolphin Viewpoint where it is possible to spot dolphins and gives a magnificent view of the untouched paradise of the Wilderness beaches. Continuing the tour, we travel over the Outeniqua Mountain Pass, where we stop to view the breathtaking views, it boasts. Before arrival in Oudtshoorn (“The Ostrich Capital of the World”) we stop to visit an Ostrich Farm where you take part in a guided tour and experience hand-feeding these flightless, fastest, and largest birds in South Africa. On arrival in Oudtshoorn enjoy some leisure time before being escorted to dinner.

Day 3: Oudtshoorn to Cape Town 

After breakfast you will be escorted by your guide to visit the famous Cango Caves. The Cango Caves is a cultural and natural landmark in South Africa as well as South Africa’s oldest tourist attraction, where you will take part in an easy and professionally guided Heritage Tour through the Caves viewing spectacular stalactite and stalagmites six large halls, continuing through to the "African Drum room". The chambers are illuminated, so you won't miss any natural beauty of the cave chambers. After this inimitable experience, you continue your journey via the R62 that promises unbeatable scenery. to South Africa’s Mother City - Cape Town. While travelling along the R62 you will drive through exquisite towns like Montagu, Robertson, and Barrydale. The stunning natural beauty with its, fruit orchards, copious vineyards, olive farms and long stretches of Karoo landscapes of this route makes the journey something to look forward to. There are many stops along the way to explore and grab a bite to eat. We enter Cape Town ending your tour, over the grandiose mountain, du Toit’s Kloof Pass, and through the magnificent Paarl Valley.
