5 DAY LUXURY ADVENTURE GARDEN ROUTE TOUR

Day 1: Port Elizabeth - Tsitsikamma 

Your tour begins leaving Port Elizabeth with your professional guide, heading towards the picturesque region of our Tsitsikamma Forest. Here you will be able to enjoy either an adrenaline pumping Tree Top Zipline activity or an Eezi Scooter Trail.  After some adventure and fun, you go on to enjoy a delicious and relaxing lunch outdoors lunch in a beautiful setting. After lunch you will head to Storms River Mouth, a powerful river that winds its way through the captivating Tsitsikamma Mountain Range and into the Indian Ocean part in the Storms River Mouth Bridge Trail on the famous Suspension Bridge that serves as a lookout point over stormy seas and precipitous cliffs through where the Storms River tumults into the sea. Leaving this Garden Route Wonder, we continue a short distance to The World-Famous Big Tree, an eight-hundred-year-old majestic wonder, a giant among giants to enjoy a brisk walk-through shaded lush serenity of the Forest. You will get to enjoy some leisure time before your guide escorts you to delicious dinner.

Day 2: Tsitsikamma – Knysna

After a delicious breakfast we head onto Knysna, a natural paradise and one of the most popular tourist destinations on the Garden Route. On our way we stop at Plettenberg Bay, at the famous lookout point for a picturesque panorama view of the most pristine beaches and possible dolphin sightings. Enjoy lunch at one of the beautiful seaside restaurants before heading to Knysna. On arrival you will be checked in at your accommodation, sure to be known for its world-class views. After checking in you will get to enjoy some leisure time in to appreciate the views of the lagoon that stretch out to the Indian Ocean at a dramatic point between the towering twin peaks known as The Knysna Heads. In the heart of this scenic beauty is the Knysna Waterfront. Refresh in your luxury accommodation before being escorted to dinner. Your guide will present you with various upmarket restaurant options. 
(There is an optional activity you may wish to partake in only the way - Knysna Elephant Park Tour where there are no fences allowing for an exhibition of an Elephant’s natural behaviour in a responsible and safe manner.)

Day 3: Knysna-Oudtshoorn

After breakfast, we make our way to the privately owned Featherbed Nature Reserve in Knysna for a premier eco-experience. This outing includes a ferry cruise in style on South Africa only peddle -driven vessel crossing the remarkable Knysna lagoon with 360 views, next an adventurous 4×4 vehicle drive to the top of the Western Head and a leisurely 2.2km nature walk, followed by being treated to an outdoor buffet lunch. After this spectacular food experience, we return to the mainland by cruiser and continue the tour through Lake District and the beautiful Wilderness, known for the best and most pristine beaches along the Garden Route. Here we stop at a popular tourist attraction, The Dolphin Viewpoint where it is possible to spot dolphins and gives a magnificent view of the untouched paradise of the Wilderness beaches. Continuing the tour, we travel over the Outeniqua Mountain Pass, where we stop to view the breathtaking views, it boasts. Before arrival in Oudtshoorn (“The Ostrich Capital of the World”) we stop to visit an Ostrich Farm where you take part in a guided tour and experience hand-feeding these flightless, fastest, and largest birds in South Africa. On arrival in Oudtshoorn enjoy some leisure time before being escorted to dinner.

Day 4: Oudtshoorn to Hermanus 

After breakfast, you will be the visit the famous Cango Caves. The Cango Caves is a cultural and natural landmark in South Africa and our beautiful country’s oldest tourist attraction. Here you will partake in an easy walk-through Heritage Tour with spectacular stalactite and stalagmites six large halls, continuing through to the "African Drum room". The chambers are illuminated, so you won't miss any of the natural beauty of the cave chambers. The tour is led by experienced, knowledgeable, and accredited cave guides. After this inimitable experience, you continue your journey to the town of Hermanus, with rich breathtaking scenery, and unparalleled scenic beauty, modern infrastructure, upmarket shops, and endless adventure options you can chose to take part in or various shops to visit. You will sure to be staying at one of South Africa’s most spectacular hotels in the Western Cape’s Overberg region. Hermanus is well-known for the most remarkable whale viewing during our whale season – most often directly from the comfort of the sea view bedrooms. (Please note that Whale viewing season is from July to November.) You are free to be at your own leisure before being escorted for dinner. Your guide will suggest some upmarket restaurants to choose from.

Day 5: Hermanus- Cape Town  

 
After a delicious breakfast, you will enjoy a memorable boat cruise with magnificent scenery. We have the most beautiful coastlines in the world, and in the bay of Hermanus there’s no better way to see it than from its waters. After this luxury activity and a delicious lunch at one of the seaside restaurants get ready to submit yourself into some tranquil therapy. Included in this package is a luxurious Spa Treatment per person.
